Five Ways To Serve

Do you know that God has given you a number of gifts for you to serve Him and others? It is amazing what you can do when you dedicate your life to Christ. He can do miracles through you, I say. In this blog, we are going to discuss how your gifts can be used for service.

In Romans 12:9-13, we learn, Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.”

It is worth noticing that God does talk about the importance of hating what is evil, honor one another above ourselves and the importance of serving God. What am I saying? I am saying that God commands us to love and serve! We might as well follow His lead. In reality, there are many ways we can serve. Let me share with you fie ways you can serve.

  1. Serve God above all things by engaging in the great commission.
  2. Serve your family by being available and helpful.
  3. Serve your church and help them to spread the word of God.
  4. serve your community by volunteering.
  5. Serve your neighbor as you do yourself.
