I’ve seen this my whole life, “God Opposes The Proud But Gives Grace To The Humble.” It pays off to be humble and push pride to the corner. You won’t gain much by taking a prideful stance and behaving as if people are below you. Instead, live humbly always loving each other.
In proverbs 3:34, we read, “He has no use for conceited people, but shows favor to those who are humble.” In James 4:6, we also read, “But the grace that God gives is even stronger. As the scripture says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Clearly, from a biblical standpoint, we are to be humble in order to receive God’s grace.

We all need God’s grace in order to cope with being alive. I fall, you fall… we all fall short of the glory of God. Be humble, oppose the proud and in all circumstances, love each other. Doing the former is the quickest, most efficient way, to receive God’s grace. What a gift God’s grace is.
