Whatever War You Make I Won’t Be Afraid

My eyes close, my eyes open, my eyes see the invisible faces of God. What more can I ask for? I have no more conflicts with the horrors of war… Not anymore.

I smell justice, I hear the blue birds singing on the sky, I’m touching the most beautiful sunflower on the field. I’m so far away from that ugly and exhausting battlefield…

The bullets are passing by. I hear so many screams, I hear so many fights! Oh my Lord, what a miscalculation! They can’t see the obvious highlights! Or the southern lights.

So much lack of insight. Please stop the Apartheid, tonight! Peacemakers are called the sons of God, the Lord has said… You doubt? Go ahead but don’t be mad or sad.

Whatever you do? I won’t be afraid. Never again, I say… go away.
