I’m Looking Forward To What Is Coming Ahead

I was dead but now I live. So colloquial were my words. So trivial were my thoughts. I woke up. I’m not sleeping anymore. Academia? You’re going to see me like I was before…

Precise. Inquisitive. Critical. Systematic. I can feel postmodernism getting away from my body. I’m in peace… it’s the beginning of the second part of my story…

That just begun. It will be fun. I’m unlearning one-by-one many of my mistakes that were clearly overdone. I’m a scholar, I’m a thinker, I’m an educator! My research? I’m back to being an innovator and creator rather than a mere speculator…

I’m back and firm. I have no doubt that this time will be like none. I was a lost prodigal son. Travelled many miles away, seeking a dream that could only end in dismay… but hey.

I’ve come to my senses. Academia, your son has returned after five years lost in the wilderness. You say a fatted caff waits for me in love. So many smiles, so much celebration! I know that this blessing comes from above.

No more stagnation. No more suffering. No more frustration. I have no hesitation about what I just said.

I’m looking forward to what is coming ahead.
