35 Positive Comments I’ve Heard This Spring 2020

I’m humbled by the numerous comments I’ve heard from my students this semester. I thank God for the opportunity to have an impact student’s lives. My plan at Talladega College is to do this and more.

  1. ED: Thanks for teaching this class and being a great professor!
  2. IM: Thanks for a great semester! Praying for you as you transition into your new job!
  3. IB:  I want to thank you for an amazing semester!
  4. AG: Thank you for all your hard work this semester, I really appreciate all you’ve done to adapt to the situations we’ve faced.
  5. JS:  I’m so thankful for your teaching as well as your kindness. You have been so much more than a golf professor to me, and I can’t express how thankful I am for the silly moments in the caf. Thank you SO MUCH, Dr. A!
  6. CC: Thank you for a great semester in the two classes I had with you!
  7. JS: I loved the class and I’m going to miss having you at Lee even though I’m graduating. I hope we stay in touch so I can learn more of your wisdom over social media and many other aspects!
  8. JW: I’m thankful for all that I have learned from you. Best of luck and blessings to you and your family in your journey at Talladega College!
  9. SJ: I have thoroughly enjoyed this class! Thank you for such a great class!
  10. JE: I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you thank you! Thank you for your down to earth kindness. You are the reason I stayed at Lee. Your optimistic and goofy way of doing life is inspirational! I thank God for my time with you and wish you all the best in your new position!!
  11. SB: Thank you for the help with my golf game, sadly it was cut short but i plan on continuing to practice the adjustments you showed me.
  12. DE: I learned so many new skills and tricks from Dr. A that I can totally put to use as I begin my future in interior decorating and design. During week 13, we learned how to add paypal to our websites and how to make a profit from our work electronically, instead of just being paid in person for the services we carry out. This is very important considering the situation the world is in now with the global pandemic. Tools like this allow for us to continue our services and still get paid for the work that we are doing despite not being able to leave the house.
  13. TB: Dr. A was a great professor to me during this class because he has incredible patience and also is really good at golf. There’s nothing  worse than being taught something by someone who has no clue that’s they’re doing but Dr. A knew exactly what he was doing that’s why the class was so amazing.
  14. AS: My handicap has improved considerably as a result of this class. I came in shooting around 90-95 and now I can consistently shoot in the mid 80s. This class has allowed me to enjoy golf on a much higher level and it is a game that I will play for the rest of my life. I only got to have one lesson with Dr. Almeida, but I definitely learned a lot and have been able to tweak my swing ever since.
  15. JE: Thank you so much for your kindness and dedication this semester. You will be missed.
  16. DP: I have enjoyed my time here at lee and looking back some of the best times were in your classes Dr. A. Thank you so much for all you have done and I wish you the best as you chase your dream in a new career. They are lucky to have you and I hope you continue to impact students wherever you land.
  17. AU: In Dr. A’s class, I have learned how to grow in my designing abilities and how to make a profit from doing what I love. I had many questions on several things when it came to the logistics of creating a functional website, but thanks to what I’ve learned in this class, I feel confident in moving forward with website design
  18. AP: I’m thankful this class and for Dr. A’s coaching. It was an excellent introduction to the world of golf and tore down the wall of intimidation I had built about learning something new this late in the game.  I made contact on the first three swings! This is a feat in and of itself and Dr. A built us all up for accomplishing that so quickly.
  19. TC: Thank you and I truly enjoyed your class this semester!!
  20. KP: Sad you are leaving Lee because you have been one of my favorite professors but I wish you the best at your new university! Let’s stay in touch!
  21. HJ: It really helped to have Dr. A as my golf professor this semester. I have always enjoyed his energy and compassion for his students and the lessons he teaches. What was super cool was seeing him be in his element at the driving range and seeing his love for golf come out as he tried to better all of the students. I am not sure I would have gotten as much out of this golfing class as I did if it were not for Dr. A and his joyful personality to keep me out of my thoughts of being a perfectionist. Thank you, Dr. A, for your constant care and desire to want what is best for your students, for your university. I have enjoyed being a student of yours for the time I have had with you.
  22. DL: Thank you for your help and all the support this semester. I will miss you as a professor and for all the advice you have helped me with. I hope we can stay in touch through social media.
  23. KM: Thank you so much for a wonderful semester! I have enjoyed this class and your insight on web page design so much! It has been so helpful. I hope you have a great summer break!
  24. AD: Thank you for all you have taught me and the work that you do for Lee University students. We are so grateful.
  25. EJ: Thank you so much for your kindness and dedication this semester. It has been a journey to say the least, but we have made it though.
  26. JR: Thanks so much for everything. It was a great class!
  27. JG: Thank you for a wonderful class, Dr. A. I am amazed by your brilliance and admire you very much. Very grateful to have had classes with you. I am pretty sure people will love and admire you anywhere you go, I wish you all the best for the future.
  28. DB: Thank you for your dedication in this course!
  29. AM: I have really enjoyed your class this semester! I am already working on new content to keep my site up!
  30. DE: I’m really grateful for the time I spent in your class this semester and the opportunities it opened my eyes to to. It prepared me to go into the world and conquer it. Most importantly, it is giving me the tools to launch my hair care business with my first product line focused on hair care for black women in college. My products will be affordable, effective, and visually appealing. Thanks so much for having me in your class. It was an absolute joy.
  31. DR: Thanks for a great semester!
  32. BS: I am grateful to have learned what I have from Dr. A’s teaching and the content of this course, and I look forward to seeing how this will help me in my future.
  33. OP: Thank you so much for everything you have done for us this semester. I have enjoyed this class and have learned so much about myself and designing.
  34. MG: Thank you for being a professor I feel comfortable being honest with. You will be very missed at Lee University!
  35. MK: Thank you for all that you have taught us over the course of this semester. I really enjoyed learning about social media and how to use it effectively. I heard that you will not be returning to Lee University next year- which is sad. God will be bless you and your next steps in life.

In his name, always.
