God Is The Ultimate Artist

Look around… The blue sky, the green trees, the yellow birds, brown cows, and the invisible wind. All creations of God. God did them all and “it was very good. “ Genesis 1:31.

God is the ultimate artist. Since we are created in the image of God, our ability to express ourselves artistically is embedded in our human DNA. Some create cars, others paintings, one has a different way to play a sport or deliver a lesson or sermon.

Go figure…

Then God said ‘Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth.’ And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:26-28.

As I’m here looking at God’s masterpiece, I capture God’s work with my Nikon aiming my lens seeing His majesty. This is what I see…

Oh God, how beautiful is your creation. I’m sitting here in awe. The Lord is extraordinary. We are mere observants of His mighty and glory. The colors… so bright with divine luminance and a color hue that only God could have come up with.

Today is a gift. Tomorrow? It’s in God’s hand. In the meanwhile, lets smile and do what we can to emulate God’s ways.

God is the artist. We are apprentices.
