The Lord has been clear about how the brethren must treat and act with others in this life — with gentleness and with self control, “Gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:23. I’m not sure if we have succeed in obeying this simple commandment from the Lord.
In this past year alone, I’ve witnessed too many without control callous actions directed at well behaved Christians wanting to live in peace. The behind the doors evil schemes meetings, non-verbal passive aggressive behaviors and actions, and “loosing the cool behaviors” were some of the actions I’ve personally have witnessed.
Some of them, we even directed at me. In the words of Jesus, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34.
We are sons and daughter of the living God and although we live in this world we are not it, as scripture has taught us. Dare to be different! E a man or women of character who makes the attempt and follow through to obey what God has commanded of us.
Lacking self-control and gentleness in ones actions certainly doesn’t come from the Lord. It is of the enemy. Take note and be aware. God is always paying attention.
