The Lord Loves You More Than You Think — Say No To Anxiety

“Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment? Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life? And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clotheyou, O ye of little faith? Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matthew 6:24-35

We were made to exude the mighty of the Lord and celebrate His glory for us all. We were not made to be anxious or to think that the Lord is there to let us fall. God wouldn’t do the former. What often happens is that men chooses, through free will to do wrong consequently leading to potentially engage in harmful relationships. God is a pilot and a father not a cheap mere thief.

The Lord loves you more than you think. And yes, He wants you and me to engage in the great commission, share the gospel, care for the poor, inspire the unbeliever, fight for justice in this unjust world, and always be alert about the maneuvers of the enemy. With you God, even the impossible becomes possible. Your good surrounds me with much hope in prayer.

The flesh might be weak but a strong spirit compensates for and fixes the deficit. Oh God, you know us more than anyone. You are the one who can cure the mind by displaying your so caring love. We all make mistakes… but the holy spirit of God being us back on track. Faith brethren…. faith. Much faith.

In patience, we should wait. Remember the old American military proverb, “Victory belongs to those who believe the most and the longest. Let God do His thing. Get out of the way…
