Nobody Is Never Fully Prepared

Are you seeking for the right time to do a job or to pursue something you always wanted to do but didn’t because you thought you weren’t prepared to start? Stop with this mindset. If God wants you to do a task, he will ensure you will be prepared to do it even without having “formal” preparation for it.

In reality, nobody is ever fully prepared to do anything. I wasn’t prepared to leave my whole Brazilian life when I came to study English in the USA in the late 90’s, No way! I admit that I wasn’t prepared to start College after scoring a 565 on the TOEFL test… which parent preparation did I have when my daughter Sophia was born? Zero.

Yet, I am now an American citizen, graduated from college in my second language, my kid is 8 and I don’t think that my lack of parent preparation had any impact on me raising her. Why? Because God always provide when He wants you to advance His glory in your life, sometimes against all the odds. If God wants you to do (or have something) you will have it, regardless of whether you are prepared for it or not.

When God really wants you to do something, nobody can ever stop it. That’s the lesson, ladies and gents. The case of Daniel, Jonas, Gideon, and many other bible characters are excellent biblical evidence of this. Jonas ended in the belly of a whale for resisting to do the Lord’s will… Gideon doubted himself, who is ever prepared to be the President of anything for the first time? God will enable the brethren at the right time to do His will. Remember that.

Jeremiah 29:10, “As soon as Babylon’s seventy years are up and not a day before, I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. 12 “When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I’ll listen. 13-14, “Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.”

Keep firm in the faith. What God gives you nobody can take it away. “That which God has given, let not man take away.” 1 Timothy 4:3. Preparation isn’t a pre-requisite for God’s will — faith is.
