“There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.” Proverbs 6:16-19.

In life, avoid doing the former at all costs. Flee from people who are practitioners of these seven devilish behaviors and always keep your eyes on the Lord. Remember what was is written in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.”

Don’t be a slave to evil. Seek truth and that “truth will set you free.” John 8:32. Be an example for others, choose to do good and don’t engage in evil schemes, no matter the bait.
