The Law of Wrong Doing

“For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.” You don’t need to operate ne’er they eye for and eye and tooth for a tooth. God always do justice my brethren.

Flee from the perverted speech!!! Swearing, speaking nasty comments, racist slurs… as a result of paying back from what you hear from others. Let’s remember the lessons we learn in Proverbs 8:13, “The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.”

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Romans 12:21. “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19. The Lord is wise and will do what is right according to His own justice. All you have to do is to seek peace and pursue it!

“Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14.

In this life, we are to live for the Lord not man. “Abstain from every form of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:22. Say no to wicked plans, a lying tongue, and anyone who sow discord among brothers. We were instructed about not acting like the former!

“There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.” Proverbs 6:16-19.

With God, doing good is possible and nothing is impossible. “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37. Be a man or women of character. Goose to do good instead of evil. Don’t engage in wrong doing. Don’t be bad but good. Strive to live a life of good deeds.

We have a great example in Jesus. Let’s act on it today!
