Most people try the impossible to be someone in this life at the expense of ignoring that the only likely possibility for them to be someone is by losing their own life for the pursuits of God and His kingdom.
What a waste of effort I say, ladies and gentleman. As we learn from scripture, “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world yet forfeit his soul?” Matthew 8:36.
Just don’t. Do the impossible to advance the kingdom of God in Christ Jesus and “Love one another because we know that loving one another deeply covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8.
The pursuits of man’s wealth are often guided by the sinful laws of man which many times can be quite demonic in nature and essence. Being someone in a man’s eyes was the approach that Jerry Epstein took. He died in his pursuits to please man and himself in sin.
Never forget what we learn from scripture, “The wages of sin is death but the gift of the Lord is eternal in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23.
Say no to man’s values and perishable ambitions and yes to the fatherly guidance given by our God in antiquity. God’s Will precedes any legacy set by perishable human beings.
Choose the Lord’s ways instead.
